OK-I think this post has has become way to complicated---first of all NO ONE that I know has there own pump out pump---2nd of all-the marinas charge $5-8 to pump your tank out--before I would drag the boat home--bury a line--buy a pump that prob won't pump it far enough anyway-install a masarator pump(which is prob illegal), or go to all that trouble---from reading the comments here--I'm guessing that few of these fine iboats freinds have a tank on their boat----here's the deal----install the tank--vent it out the back of the boat to avoid smell--use the blue chem that ALL marinas sell--don't pour all the bottle down right away---as you go #1 or #2, pour a little down and pump it down----in a boat your size I wouldn't drill holes or worry about installing a strainer system--if you have a sink with water anyways just pour a little water in to flush---or do #2 first and wash it down with #1---remember ---all that fresh water you pour down you also have to pump out--a manual pump works great---don't be penny wise and $$$ foolish---how many times will you really use it anyways??? Good luck ---I have a 28' Regal that I spend a lot of time on and don't have any trouble---Steve

Update:

I've attempted to seal the two tanks and have leaks. The fresh water tank seams to be easy to fix. The black water tank I wasn't able to get passed the outlet before I noticed a leak.

I used 1.5 flex pipe ( white, it has wire in it) and used a SS pipe clamp (as shown below). I tightened it as tight as I could before I thought the plastic thru-hull might break. Is there a better way to clamp these pipes down to a plastic fitting. I did not try two clamps but I'm afraid of breaking the thru-hull if I tighten it any more with one clamp.
