Visited yesterday … didn’t have enough time to really enjoy it … several museums in one and $1 entrance fee. First wing is dedicated to the Merrimack and Monitor … history, construction, artifacts, etc. Very interesting!

Next section is the history of the Navy. Lots of interesting stuff… especially the timeline of submarines.

Next section is dedicated to the 2013 America’s Cup winning Oracle. You literally walk under the Oracle as you look at the different displays.

Then there is the “Small Craft” building. Lots of different boats from canoes and single man vessels to several beautiful ChrisCraft.

The final section is the model section. These are 4-8 foot model replicas of different ships. There is a model worker behind a glass enclosure working on models … really cool!
