Mariner 15Hp serial # problem

Hi

Got a Mariner 15C (ML) Ser No code 684C Serial number 345 755. Can anyone tell me the year, plug type and plug gap? I have just spent nearly 2 hours searching the web but cannot find anything? Starting to panic as I have a fishing competition this saturday and wanted to check everthing over?

Your engine should be a 1989 Japanese built 2cyl, long shaft, manual start engine. That would use Champion QL82C/L82C or NGK B7HS plugs.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

The plugs installed are NGK B6HS10. Are these ok?

What should the gap be for these?

If they're not the right ones, what should the gap be for the Champion QL82C/L82C or NGK B7HS plugs?
