Mariner 55?

I need some help identifying what year my motor is. It's a Mariner 55, num:663-3558(last number is hard to read,look's like a 9), made in Japan. Thanks for your help

Thank's for your help, by your chart i would guess its a 1976 model, I can see that there is a "L" (longshaft?)between 663 and 35589. There is another tag lower down that reads: Made in Japan, Mariner International co, Fond Du Lag, Wis,USA

Is there a manual available that covers this year, and are parts still available?

That motor was imported by Mercury/Bruinswick and made by Yamaha. Yamaha parts will interchange but you have to do some research between different models, here is link to part breakdown.
