I have a mariner 40hp (1989, manuel start). It's a great engine but I've recently bought a control box that accepts 33c cables. Now as I understand it mariners under 40hp take c16 cables and I need a conversion kit. I have looked about but am unsure of what I'm after and how much I should be paying.
Also do I buy 33c cables or c16s (or can you get a cable with one on each end?) and do you put the concersion kit on the engine or the control box?
Any help would be geat
