mariner what year ect

Hi can any one help me identify my mariner year ect it is a 9.9 but i dont know where to look for the numbers should it have some sort of a silver plate.it has the number68270 on the top of the starter,and 6820 on the plate where the spark plugs go spark plugs are ngkb7hs and on the side of the motor there is a silver plug about the size of a ten cent bit with the number 304428 on it

There should be either 2 letters or 3 numbers ahead or above those 6 digits that we need

ok there is a 68250 on the carby and above the 68250 on the starter is a small circle with 8E/8 and on the side of the block 68200 with Y-1 under it thats all i can find without pulling it apart thanks
