Do we use pastes....of course not.....Anita saw that and immediately bought a pack of 4 pastes, but left them in the fridge.....so tonight we are definitely going to try one!! (Isn't it the way).

Yep, excellant site. I looked at that line...very easy to pack....bit of plant and equipment, but the gas gives an extended shelf life, the hard packaging means you can stack flat to top of box and nothing gets squashed, and they can be 'hang-sell' (as in the package has a hole in top and it fits over a bar and hangs down).....shops love it.....mass # of stock for min space. PROBLEM....our market won't pay the price....not the customer, but the retailer.....the 2 big chains eye each other up and on certain lines keep price to a min, and herbs are one of them.
Just a fact of our system at the moment.
I copied the artwork tho.....always good to have a library of artwork for ideas.

That other stuff.....you just wouldn't believe how easy it is to grow that stuff in my system.....we reckon we could hold about 30,000 plants (Dutch Hope is it??) at different stages of development, on a 52 week grow period and XX week cycles.

The product is named same as the line sold here.
You have to watch the B/S in this world.....maybe I am wrong....maybe not.
This manufacturer down here advertises they grow, process and pack (just up the road from me) and state 'patent pending'....and there is a fair amount of hype, but that's ok....we all believe in ourselves and that's good....but this has been on their literature for a long time...years.....now all of a sudden you produce a photo of an identical product....name, artwork etc identical, but in oz and not grams.
I mean I don't care.....competition is fine.....it is the way life is....but it is valuable info for my future....like I know it works because my opposition is doing it....and they reckon they are not. How lucky can I get with those photos??

You are dead right, it is beyond me.
To set up a structure to turn raw product into a finished line is a big op, but if i tie in with an existing structure, but have them use my own package, and as i hold a distribution and supply number, a Aussie QA program with full HACCAP (food saftey) with a national chain.....it could work.
No point in re-inventing the wheel. ....it is already turning.
So thank you everybody for your input, and I will look forward to any other info that you can supply. Your market is so broad, you may well have 10 different similar or identical lines, and knowing about them is important to me.
I will make a file of all this and start stage 2 of my thinking.
