any body have any info on 30 hp marniner outboard mid 80s model . was it a good engine. or any problems had with it thanks

The mid 80's mariner 30 was a re-badged Yamaha... Not a bad engine... But like all things, previous maintenance will be the main deciding factor on its reliability....

If you do get it, do a FULL service on it straight up, assume it's never been done.

I agree older motors need maintaince you have no idea of what is or has been done to motor check it out GOOD.

hi iam looking at a mariner 30 hp mod no 30ml 689l serial no 329334 told it was1989 model is this correct
