Ive seen quite a few posts concerning MMO going into the engine prior to cranking them up for the first time in however many millenia, lol, whats the real skinny on this stuff guys? good idea? I was going to shoot a little PB blaster down there, then give em a tank of 24 to one to get the parts used to being in an active state once again ...

the 66 was run earlier this season before it conked out, but the 67 has been sitting for god knows how long ... I gave her a pull on the starter to see if it was froze, but that was about it ... shes tough to pull til she goes over that compression hump, must have plenty of compression

Which triggers another thought ... new post!

Re: Marvel Mystery Oil?

Marvel Mystery Oil...Isn't that stuff like the WD-40 they put on your popcorn at the show??? That stuff sure does lube things up a bit.....

As for rope starting those high compression motors, heck, I just remove a couple of plugs. They pull over and start really easy. My hearings shot anyway, so it's no big deal. Most guys here don't run on all cylinders anyway , so I figure , why fight it. The older I get , the more plugs I pull.

So I guess I'll pull one more plug for now...this one.
