The doc (my age 58)..looks me over and wonders why the massive "party life" I lead still has me alive. I can still kill a 12 pack of "lite beer"..gotta watch those "ABS"..and ride the **** outta any of my Harleys, or the 150hp Sportbike. 48 years now, and no end in sight.
I hide zip from him...good Doc.
Tell him.."simple".."hereditary"..good "genes"..parents (wild 50's+, and the last of 3, born 1950..they partied daily!)
They smoked, drank, ate all the greasy, fatty stuff, all the crap that is supposed to kill ya nowadays, and I took over after Nam 69, adding all the then new "green "Leafy Substance" ..70's was way too much.."white powdery substance "...
Any regrets?...zip...live large...far as I know, this is the best shot at life we got.
ALL in my family, eating well, drinking to much, smoking Camels, ALL lived into the 80's and 90's.
And those were WITHOUT DRUGS!
Told him (Doc)...the new "Meds"...will probably have me at your Funeral!
Jeezz, me dad pumped mom (He was 50 years OLD!, mom 38...like me, like the young ones...)
And there I was....carrying on the "tradition"......he gave up at 84, mom at 82.
Me?....figure a good 30 years yet pissing the young'ings off, with age and Trechery....I'd grow up, but don't see the need just yet!
Diets, the "Health Club", the running around the block at 5am, won't help ya zip.
Toss yer kids in the dirt, get all damn "crap" that will kill ya later, in the blood, and BUILD some "immunity"...body pretty remarkable at fighting "stuff" off...(think any cold...a good one will take 14 days to go away by itself, OR, take all the OTC crap, and it will away in 2 weeks) and go tell "Clorox", and "germs"...TO GET LOST...its a BIG SCAM fer yer bucks. Be a day in hell when I "wipe down" a phone or Keyboard, just because someone else used it.
Jeeezz, bicyles behind the DDT Mosquito trunks, spraying the fog in 50's back in the MidWest, tells me ..."INGEST", ..then you will survive.
And I'm living proof...and still get "bite" by them...and they die quicker than I can swat'em"...
