Hi there, I am in the process of building a new boat (21 footer) out of fiberglas (GRP). The traditional method for making the transom plate for outboard is GRP-plywood sandwich. owever, this has its drawbacks in form of water rotting of the wood through he motor holes and such. Does anyone there knows a water-resistant material that can be put in the transom plate as a GRP sandwich, plastic prefferably, and that has sufficient strength to bear the operation of some 150 hp engine. Thank You dearly for any information, GAlvic
