Max RPM's

I have a 1989 Bass Tracker 1800tf w/110 tracker evinrude pro series. Boat soeed is around 43-45. RPM's are 5500. What are the max rpm for this motor, and How would I up them. I have a 13x19 prop on it.<br /><br />Could I ajust the rpms with the linkage on the motor.

The rpms will first be limited by the limiter in the pack if there is one. Look at the pack and post all the numbers on it. We like to prop them out at 5800 with an average load for longevity. <br /><br />Yes, you might get more rpms by adjusting the linkage if the linkage is out of adjustment now. Your service manual will have the correct proceedure. Very easy when you follow all the steps in order.
