May 1 Backlash??

Paul Harvey reported today that in Herndon VA, a bond issue before the voters to enlarge their Day Labor Center to accomodate more migrant and potentially illegal workers was defeated by a 6-1 margin. Two of the town council members who supported the bond issue were also defeated in their re-election bid.

I know several people of hispanic descent that are citizens or legal aliens. They are ticked off about this issue, they wish all the illegals would go home. The backlash is affecting them also.
