Maybe VRO Problems..........Need Help!!!!

I have a 1986 50hp johnson. I think my VRO might be bad. Can i mix my gas 50:1, and just disconnect the alarms to see if it is actually bad??????......Need Help, Bass Tournaments Start very soon...

yes, of course you can, but why not just get it checked and/or fixed?

You can get them checked. I didn't think you could check them. Can i just take it to a mechanic to check it??? Im not really worried about spending the money i just want to no that the VRO is the problem.
