MC New Engine/Old Drive mate up issues

Guys, I have a 1968 SC - 120+MC1 outdrive. I bought a 1989 3.0 130 motor in great shape and just dropped it in - unfortunately the mounting bolts on the newer motor are in a different location that the out drive - they are about 8" apart on the motor and about 12" apart on the out drive.

So - is there a heaven sent easy fix for this - or is the answer - get a new outdrive.

The out drive is in great shape.

Ayuh,... Youmight be able to use the old flywheel cover....
You may also have a problem lining up the exhaust...

You are correct - different flywheel cover and the exhaust!

or different outdrive
