Hi my motor cooked on my trim pump, I am wondering if anyone knows the best place to get just the motor? Or does anyone have a used one for sale? My boat had the 165 inline 6 cylinder mercruiser
ARCO Marine has a trim motor mounted on the upper section of the fluid reservoir, you just re-use the lower plate. You may just need a new brush head and a clean up of the commutator.
My motor is burnt, went up in smoke at the boat launch while loading. The motor had been really weak for 4 or 5 years now, so I knew one day it would die. So far the cheapest I found is 127usd plus another 50 to ship it up to me in Canada.
