Hard to say what you need without looking at it first. Have you been having overheating problems or is this just preventive maintenance?

You are planning on pulling the complete outdrive aren't you? If not, why not?

I purchased this boat over the Winter so I do not know the condition of the impeller, and was told it cooled fine but I rather be safe than sorry. It is on a 470, I already have the out drive pulled and ordered an alignment tool.

Once you get the water pump apart you will know what you need to buy....

Have a watch of my video and you'll get an idea of what to look for....

Better to be safe...I bought a boat right before winter and went through the whole process of putting in a new pump and checked the condition of the entire lower unit and glad I did as my housing was burned/melted from being run dry and replaced some other odds and ends while it was apart. While not too sure at the time with serial #'s or crossreferencing part #'s,I matched my pump with one through the site.

Thanks for the video, I would not have checked the top housing where the exhaust could melt it, thanks alot.
