I have a 1964 sears 7.5 made by McCulloch. My problem is. The sleeve that is in the center of the prop, which is encased in rubber is spinning at high speed. Is there any possible way to fix this ? or am I going to have to find a new prop?
Thanks

Check with a prop shop they may be able to rehub it.

I had a 1949 sea king 5hp with the same problem. I took it to a prop shop and they were able to shim it up with rubber. Instead of rubber encasing the sleeve it had several strips of rubber surrounding it that were press fit. The prop guy wouldnt guarantee it but it worked for several years that way.
