mecruiser 888 project

I am working on a 1976 sea ray 200srv with a mercruiser 888 stern drive.the tilt/trim pump motor runs in both directions but sounds like it dead heads in the up position and runs no load in the down positon,I tore it apart and found water and grey gunk in the ports.I soaked it with clean atf and penetrating oil but now I am not sure the position of the springs and balls for reassembly,would some have a diagram or picture of the pump breakdown?

The service manual links are in the "stickys" above in the forum message list. They're the first 2 messages... There's should be picture in the right year manual for your drive.
