G'day legends
I picked up a really well looked after 2006 25hp mecuary sea pro motor it's only ever been used as a trolling motor on a bigger boat so done next to no work
When I picked it up he had already had it started and was running great so I slaped it on my boat for a camping fishing trip that day so took it straight out that day started great every time ran a Lil rough as it had been sitting around
After about half hour giving it a good go on the river it cleaned up and ran really smooth the whole day started 1st pull every time very happy
Next day roll outta the swag and jump in the boat for a sunrise fish only to find out the motor will not start
After 15min of pulling my arm outta the socket I jump on YouTube find there's a starting procedure so I copy that and get it going after another 10 pulls
And once again runs great all day smooth ride 1st pull starts
Go back out the next weekend follow the starting procedure and can not get it started after half hour of trying I pull the spark plugs there a Lil black but still ok I dunked em in the fuel tank put them back in and it started 2nd pull
So I figured the plugs must be throwing a week spark when cold
Got new plugs today changed them and same issue trying to cold start in in a barrel
Any advice would be much appreciated cose aside from this cold start issue it's such a nice motor

Check what the correct plug # should be. Replace them. ALSO set the Plug Gap to correct amount. NAPA sells a neat simple Gapper Disc. First step. Get lucky
