melted cylinder top

[fins&gills]

1972 3 cyl 65hp merc. slowed to about 1/4 trottle compresion is good but top cyl is melted is it possible to get the rest of the year out of it or am i looking for a motor.

You'll be looking for a motor. That piston detonated. Timing must've been off. It doesn't take much with those. Sorry for the bad news.
