merc 115 carbs???

are the carbs the same on a 76 merc 1150 and an 83 merc 115?? are they interchangeable?? they sure look the same..

No they are not, the 83 115, being prop rated is a more powerful engine than the crank rated 76 model and requires a different carb, which is also jetted differently(there are other differences in calibration besides the jets).
