Merc 125 flywheel stuck

trying to get the flywheel of my 125. I broke the bolt off the puller and it didnt budge.

Any thoughts?

Did you use that kind of puller?

with some penetrating oil and an impact driver, it usually pop right off!

if you are using a crows foot type puller and using the three 1/4 inch bolt holes, it is not going to cut it !
Use the mercury type puller like the last post showed you.

yep thats the kind of puller I used. It snapped the center bolt without a budge. I ordered another one and will try it again wih some penetrating oil.

You should be able to get that bolt at the hardware store or auto store.
Maybe get a better grade bolt (case hardened etc) use the penetrating oil
I know it is not recommended but I had to put pressure on the flywheel with the puller and then give it a love tap with a hammer on the puller bolt to jar it loose, I had alot of pressure and it would not come loose, but when I smacked the puller bolt with the hammer it came loose.
I have the same motor you have. I don't like to use force but some times
you have to lead the horse to water and then use a 2x4 to make him drink
