Don, I didn't put it on, it came with the boat...I didn't even realize it until we started troubleshooting this spring. Should the coil get hot? And shouldn't it have a good blue spark? I did get it started tonight though....doesn't want to idle though...seems like its leaking air around the carb/manifold gasket. I bought a new one, but didn't quite look right, even though the correct p/n was on the package. It seems thicker than the old one also. I'll run over to the lake tomorrow and look at another new one just in case the first one was packaged wrong.
