Kind of a tan/brown best I can tell. I don’t have the best eyes around though . Iv looked and looked and can’t find anything obvious like another broke wire end or a connection at the block missing a wire..
It just goes to the little distribution block . There’s 2 other wires on it. I’m assuming one Is just power coming in. I know I’m about at wits end with this motor. It runs like total crap. Starts idles fine, won’t rev just snaps and pops will clean out a little around 2500-2800 but not great . Iv already drained gas, seafoam it and running on external tank. Replaced several bleed tubes. Cleaned carbs ,even though the were spotless . New plugs. It’s getting good spark to all 6. Iv not tried it on the water yet just been running in a large drum of water. I did notice the bottom 2 cylinders aren’t as warm as the rest so I’m assuming those are the problem . Can use enricher or pump ball when trying and doesn’t make any difference.Compression is 120 on 5 of them and 130 on 1. Im about ready to take it to the lake and send it till it blows then tell the wife I need too just get a brand new pro Xs 150 and be done .
Well I have an update. Said heck with it took it the the lake . Starts and idles great on water. Little stumble with same pop and snap around 2000-3500rpm but if you gas it and go on . it wakes up and runs perfect ! Me and the wife cruised about 10 miles at 45mph and it never skipped a beat! I didn’t want to run it all out rite now. My water psi is little high so I’m going to do thermostats and poppet . I can’t believe how bad this thing run at home but how good it cleaned up on the water once got going ! I’m a very relieved man. Just came home and done another compression test and still all good to go with same numbers as before.
