I ran my merc 150 xr2 about 50 miles on sunday with no problem at all. Took another 15 mile trip on monday and ran great until right in front of dock. When I run at 4500 to 5000 rpm the engine will lose power like fuel starvation. I can leave throttle alone and it will pick up speed again and then stall out again. when I pump primer bulb it will flatten out and not expand again. I changed fuel filter on port side of engine but problem still persists. It definetly feels like a fuel starvation problem. Any ideas out there?
