I do not think you will get the shaft to run true with that much damage. You would be best off to replace the shaft. You don,t say what condition the gears are in but I imagine they are bad. I have a good driveshaft if thats all you need. If so I can put it up on ebay,but shipping will not be cheap.

i have a 115hp g/box i might be able to get the shaft out of it if it will fit i i am not sure how much they are worth thou maybe $150 au would be my guess

btw that your pinion gear will need replacing by the looks of it

i have a spare gear box which has every thing in it but the prop is stuck on it so i will have a go at getting it off and have a look at the internal parts i will be able to send u some pictures of the stuff then you can decide if you would like it it might take a few days to do cause of busy at work but i will have a go at it

Yeah that pinion gear is pretty stuffed. If you could pull it down that would be tops mate. The hardest part i found was pulling out the bearing carrier then securing broken shaft in vice and removing the nut at bottom of shaft. but you probibly could get a set of pullers from work. I am in no hurry at the moment rego in few weeks..

i got a set of pullers from work to try to get the prop off and they didnt fit so i will just chuck in the prop free but what i have to do is try to get the lu off the leg its stuck on pretty good then i will take it all apart and show you some pics of it so you can see it 1st i have been busy i will see if i can get a little bit done tommorow
