merc 160 or 165

i got this boat over the weekend , its a 73 reinell rv 2230 hard top that does not have a motor or drive , it had a 165 merc in it before and i want to know what motors would bolt up to the mounts would a older 160 bolt in
also anyone got info on this boat like size of gas tank etc.

Ayuh,.... In-line 6 cylinder, or 4 cylinder,..??

It is my understanding that the transom unit is the same for all engines. Make sure you dont exceed the max horsepower.

'73 would be inline 6, 4cyl (470) not out until '76
