so i took the exhaust manifold off today and noticed white slime near the 4th cylinder... debating on whether or not to just pull the head and replace all the gaskets (head, intake, ext, riser, ect.) should i just go for it? will i need new head bolts or can i reuse the stock ones... thanks again guys

After reading all these arguements about how water can get in the oil, I'm not sure I know.

All I know is that I had a bad riser and riser gasket and I had water in the oil. What I think happens is the water enters the exhaust valves via the leak and fills the cylinders. The rings are metal to metal and water will seep down past them. At least that's how I think I got the water in the oil.
After replacing the risers and gaskets the problem went away.
Does this make sense?

Where did you last leave off on this? Pulled the riser...
Did you ever drain the oil/water mix out the engine? or remove the head?
