Merc 18XD tiller/throttle cables

My coworker just picked up a nice sea nymph with a 18xd with a "broken tiller arm"
I looked at it for him this morning and it seems the cables are off, from the arm assembly.
He may need a new arm as the pulley "lack of proper part name" seems to have worn to a point where the ends of the cable seat.

Anybody have a diagram of how they are installed or a manual link?

A exploded view can be seen at Mercury Marine 18XD HP STEERING HANDLE ASSEMBLY (MERCURY) (MANUAL) Parts for the early to late 1980's years motors. Cables can be replaced or they just might need adjusting on the motor end where they mount in the cable bracket. JMO

Not too sure what you mean by "tiller arm", do you mean the steering handle?
