Merc 200 20hp date

The id plate is missing and I would like to know when it was made. The cowling is all metal not plastic and the motor is made by Kiekhafer Mercury.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Bill Martin

Bill<br />See if you can find any numbers on the motor that fall within these below. Look for a welsh plug(Freeze Plug looking) about 1 inch in diameter on the powerhead of the motor. Might have to scratch some paint or dirt off to see it.
