Well I think I found the problem!! Got out in the shop and looked every thing all over again as it layed there in parts all over my table. And quest what? I looked at the crank and son of a gun! I had left the seals on each end as I split the case<br />and the one on the bottom was in UPSIDE DOWN! The question is, would this cause the crankcase to suck air and give me only half throttle performance?

I know it's QUESS what. Also the engine was backfiring and exhaust coming out the bottom of the seal before I could get the carb set just right.

No it wouldn't suck air it would push air out the seal on the down stroke and the compression would be low on the intake in the combustion chambers and there would not be enough air to compress on the compression stroke, hence, exactly 44lbs of pressure on each cyl. would be the results. Could this be the problem?
