wow i was scanning thru some youtube vids and realized they had the exact same cowling "sigh" so does merc make the tohatsu or does tohatsu make the merc??? and why... WHY!!!!

Tohatsu makes good engines. They make all Nissans and small outboards for several brands.

Why? Because they make them better and/or cheaper than anyone else.
