The boat is a 2003 Bayliner 175 model.

What does the T-handle do?
I know that the blue hoses are for the block and manifold drain. I suspect you remove the blue hoses
from the bracket, by the T-handle, and then remove the caps to drain-correct?
The T-handle connects to what Merc calls the "Slider" which appears hold the blue hoses apart. What is the
purpose of the "Slider" and mine is broke so the ball end of the T-handle will not connect to it does it matter.
I suspect Merc went to all this trouble so you could use the T-hande to hold the two blue hoses in the bilge
so the water would drain or is there something else?
