Has anyone ever removed the lower crankcase cover on a 2 cylinder 35 HP motor without completely splitting the crankcase? I need to remove mine to put in new lower seals. I was thinking that I might loosen about 4 of the lower crankcase bolts then remove the bolts on the cover and see if it will come out. I know the "O" ring will make it a tight fit. Anyone successfully done this?
