Are the internals from a '73 blueband 50 lower unit interchangeable with the internals from an '83 50 blueband? (type V ignition)-specifically the propshaft.<br /><br />I'm using a '73 LU on my shortshaft 50 but I've got a good set of internals in a trashed case from an '83 longshaft. It'd be useful to know before I dismantle one or the other if they are compatible.(obviously apart from the driveshaft!)<br /><br />Cheers all
