Your pic has the engine tilted down too far to see how it lines up with the hull bottom. I hope you aren't running it trimmed all the way down like that
Who ever rigged it has a few things to learn about mounting engines. You probably can drill new holes, using the engine as a guide, in the highest holes. To plug the current ones, put dowels in them, a bit of Thickened Resin, and then you can raise the engine higher.
