Bought me an old long shaft and having trouble with it not pumping water. It was weak and intermittent when I bought it and now it won't pump any. I have had the foot off 4 times now and replaced the impeller and top cover but it seems something is restricting it somehow. I hooked the hose on the pump tube and a little would come out the tell tale but weak. Probably had 75 plus pounds of water pressure and more was coming out from the bottom than the top. Have blow air from the top down and it is open but seems like it is coming from the wrong place somehow. How can you tell if the water jacket has failed or ? I'm starting to think I have bought something that is pretty much a collection of parts that cant be fixed. With the muffs on it will blow out the flush hole several feet just not out the tell tale. Any thoughts or things I can try is appreciated
