Merc 650 Distributor Removal

Hey guys I am trying to remove the distributor from '67 Merc 650. The pulley for the timing belt is stuck onto the shaft. How do I go about removing it. I am replacing the trigger assembly and am trying to be delicate in doing so.

Nevermind guys. I got it. What I did was remove the 3 bolts that hold the top of the distributor assembly to the motor. The pulley then say flush onto the mount, and I took a bolt, put it right up to the shaft and gently hammered down on it. It forced the driveshaft straight out without the slightest chance of bending the distributor pulley. Swweeettt!!
