Okay fellers I have a couple of questions for you guys. Upon replacing the trigger assembly I had a few things come up. One this is the plate between the trigger and trigger housing seemed to have a bit of 3in1 oil on it. Is this on purpose? Should I put a bit of fresh oil on it? Next is trigger plate is a bit rusty or corroded. Nothing major, but should I give it a quick wipe with some solvent to clean it up a bit.
Lastly, the original part number for my trigger is 393-2918A3 and the new one that I have is 393-2918A6. On the page from which I purchased the part it says that 393-2918A6 supercedes 393-2918A3, amongst a few other parts. Only difference that I can tell from the two different parts is that the newer one has 2" longer wires. Other than that they look EXACTLY the same. Do you guys believe this is compatible, because the seller told me that it is.
