merc 650 no power tilt

I have a merc 650 with no power lift, this is done manualy but it is extremely hard to push down as well as lift up.
Iv used inox grease all over the pivot points but its still so hard to move......Im no weed, and I make sure its in neutral.......can anyone help as im about to burst a vein...........thanks

Try loosening the nuts on the tilt pin a little.
