Merc 75 HP idle adj. which carb?

I have a 1994 Merc 75 hp that has a rough idle . Runs good at high speed. I want to adjust the idle mixture screws. My Merc Service Manual explains the procedure. My question is does it matter which carb I start with. Thanks for any replys.
