merc 80hp thundrblt now dies when opening up

have just recovered my cooling and tell tale! everything is back together and starting ok. but when opening the accelerator it will only go half way before the engine dies!!! sounds like choking could be fuel but everything seems ok vent open as well.

any sugestions

get someone to pump your bulb a few times while it starts to choke, Iam dealing with a very similar problem right now, if someone pumps my bulb a couple times while I give it some throttle it starts to go and once I get going i can keep it going as long as my rpms don't drop to low

we tried that and it just dies anyway, am getting realy niffed of with this thing, we have just spent the last week unblocking the powerhead cooling it was chokers with dead marine critters remaind that was after changing the water pump if we cant get this sorted well may just shoot it,
