merc 850 carb question

I just rebuilt my carbs on my 850 thunderbolt but I lost the fuel bowl vent jet for the top carb I have ordered a new one but I want to know if I can run the motor without it till the new one gets here

Yes it wont hurt a thing..its a back draft jet for fuel economey
