I should be OK with the rectifier. Red goes to +, the two stator wires go to the ALT, the brown tacho wire goes to either of those...and then ground.

My biggest issue will be mounting it. I've read on here how some people put it on a heat sink. I'll have to see.

You could mount it directly onto the engine block. That would be the biggest heatsink available.... :D
