merc 850 question

is it possible to switch to fuel injection on a 1977 merc 850? wouldn't it get better mileage? i'd imagine it would be very difficult if possible at all.

I have never heard that a standard fuel injection set up on an OB saved much fuel over carbs. Now Direct Injection is a whole different animal

Its possible with the correct parts, matter of fact I know of a inline 6 thats having this done as we type and it runs!!!
