I have my motor off the pontoon boat and want to start it to see that all is well before re-installing. Since this motor is normally controlled from the key switch on my helm, I assume I will have to jump between a couple of the pins in my control wire connector to activate the circuit and allow it to start.

The connector for the controls is an eight-pin type...see attached. Can someone tell me which pins need to have the jumper to make this work?

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

See if it has spark the way it is.------I think it will run.-----May need to use choke to stop it or run it out of fuel.
