Somehow the last bolt went MIA from my Merc Alpha LX Gen II outdrive. I am referring to the bolt that would be all the way at the end of the cavitation plate that joins the upper and lower. (would be the rear most point on the boat/drive). I have the round zinc with the fin that goes on the underside, just no bolt. Anyone have a part # or at least be able to let me know what size bolt to get at the hardware store?

Ayuh,..... It's 3/8"- 16, by I believe 1, 1/4" long, allen head,....

A regular cap screw 6 point head won't fit,...

The one I found for a Gen 2 is a 7/6 - 14 x 1 3/4 long. It does show a hex head but my guess is a smaller head size to fit in the hole. Using an Allen head would be better it most cases. Here is the part number

Ensure you have the bolt that comes upwards from the lower gear housing into the upper drive housing before installing the anode plate...It's item 68 and 69 in AD's image above.
6810-65210SCREW, (.375-16 x 1.00) $1.80$1.761
6913-35479LOCKWASHER, (.375) $1.40$1.37

I have the round zinc with the fin that goes on the underside, just no bolt.
The bolt part number comes up as a stainless steel socket head cap screw.
