Merc Distributor cap help

About 8 years ago, I installed a Mercrusier distributor (805185-C) on my Chris Craft to have electronic ignition. The boat has run well until two years ago. Upon inspection of the cap/rotor/plugs,,, well it is time for a tune up. I want to make sure I get the right parts to replace. However, I have no idea what year of motor this distributor came out of. The present cap has Mercury Marine with p/n 16457. It is the Thunderbolt IV setup. Any help on finding what year this came out of will be appreciated.....Thanks............SS

Those numbers don't come up at all, but any Thunderbolt IV or V cap and rotor will fit, they are all the same distributor, just the electronics changed.
I would give you the numbers, but not sure if you have a V6 or V8.
