The general rule of thumb is any engine will burn 10% of its rated HP per hour at wide open throttle. Therefore 10% of 200 is 20 gallons/hour at WOT. Yes - we know you probably don't operate at wide open throttle all the time but there is no way to tell what the burn rate is at part throttle since there are way too many variables. Best way to get an idea is to go to Yamaha's web site and look at "Perforamcne Bulletins". Pick your motor and pick your boat or one close to it in length weight and type. They will show a performance bulletin with fuel burn at various speeds, the prop used, and a lot of other detail.
